- Enter a figure in the approriate unit box and press the Calculate button at the bottom. For example if you want to know how many grams in two and a half pounds type 2.5 in the pounds box and press the Calculate button.
If you see an e with a - or + symbol and then a number move the decimal place to the left or right accordingly. For example 3.456e+13 you move the decimal place to the right 13 spaces.
