This time calculator can work in 2 ways.

  1. Press the Calibrate button and every unit of time will be calculated against 1 nanosecond.
  2. Enter a figure in the approriate unit box and press the Calculate button at the bottom. For example if you want to know how many seconds in two and a half years type 2.5 in the years box and press the Calculate button.
If you see an e with a - or + symbol and then a number move the decimal place to the left or right accordingly. For example 3.456e+13 you move the decimal place to the right 13 spaces.

Note: All units in months or higher are based on average calendar time.
